Livestock Exhibition

Livestock at the Pope County Fair includes a variety of animals stalled for view from Tuesday thru Saturday of the fair.  Housed in the Poultry / Rabbit Area are chickens, guineas, turkeys, and quail, as well as purbred rabbits,  pet rabbits, and meat rabbits.  Those animals will be shown Tuesday and Wednesday of the fair.  Stalled in the barn areas are pigs, shown on Wednesday evening, Beef Cattle, Dairy Cattle, and Sheep set to show on Thursday morning, Dairy and Meat goats will conclude the showing schedule on Thursday afternoon.  A Petting Zoo will be set up in the arena during the day on Friday followed in the evening by the Pope County Fair Market Sale.  Livestock Exhibitors will come together Saturday afternoon for an awards ceremony honoring the week’s prize winning animals and top scoring youths.  For specific time see the Pope County Fair Events Schedule.

Arts and Crafts / Horticulture/Floriculture Enter online beginning July 15
Deadline – September 5, Midnight
Entries will be accepted on paper through check-in
